Our version comes battered which offers a crisp edge when fried, and is already conveniently cut, so serving it would be hassle-free – no more sticky fingers finally! Just pop it into air fryer for 7 minutes and you get to enjoy our sweet and crispy Nian Gao.

Made from glutinous rice, the slightly bouncy cake is a symbol of greater heights in the coming year, as “gao” could also mean “high” in Mandarin.
