Emperor Oysters are raised in the Seto Inland Sea area of Okayama - Kitagui Island which is known as the “home of oysters". In this area, it is blessed with the purest river canal connecting to the ocean with no population. This makes Emperor oyster very safe comparing other areas. The gentle waves and moderate tidal current makes it an ideal place for oysters to grow.
